In the heart of West Africa lies two beloved francophone countries filled with history and culture – Bienvenue (Welcome) to Cote D’Ivoire and Benin.

On this nine-day trip, we will first head to Benin where we will experience “the Venice of Africa”, a self-sufficient village called Ganvie. Next, let’s head to the Temple of Pythons, a site of historical, modern symbolism and spiritual practice in Ouidah, Benin. Before we head to Cote D’Ivoire, we will stop at one of West Africa’s largest markets often described as a “city within a city.”

When all’s said and done, we will head to Cote D’Ivoire for another adventure! Here, we will have a tour of Abidjan’s capital, Yamoussoukro, home of the largest Christian church in the world: The Basilica of Our Lady of Peace. With the Assini beach getaway and the farewell brunch the next day, this trip is truly ajam packed with captivating and informative experiences about the beautiful countries of Benin and Cote D’Ivoire.
