Join To My Sisters in an unforgettable charity outreach in Tamale, Ghana to support the building project they are involved in. Whenever you support NGUVU, you directly support thousands of women in rural Ghana to raise their standards of living and provide quality education for their children.
As a social enterprise, NGUVU Foundation was set up on the 13th of August 2019 to serve the underprivileged community in Ghana, focusing on the Gupanarigu Community in Tamale.
The Bandisuglo co-operative group in Gupanarigu has an average of 1,500 women who pick and produce shea butter and its by- products.
Since its inception, NGUVU produces all shea products from the Bandisuglo co-operative group and donates regularly to the women and children of the community. For every NGUVU product, there is a representation of strength and beauty

Your experience is a round trip, as such you will be returning to Accra and will be required to cover your own accommodation back in Accra for your remaining days of stay.
Ghana has a tropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 20-30°C (68-86°F) throughout the year. The rainy season is from April to October, while the dry season is from November to March. It is recommended to pack lightweight, breathable clothing, as well as rain gear for the rainy season. Good walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and Mosquito repellant are also recommended.
In December, Ghana has an active party season, so bring your best clothes for the road! Yes, dress to impress.
A COVID19 vaccination certificate is required to enter Ghana, non-resident without a COVID19 vaccination are not allowed to enter. You must have been double vaccinated. Similarly you are required to have a yellow fever vaccination card to enter.
Bring along all forms of donations to help the continuation of this project. Additionally, bring an open mind and a big heart to understand the stories of the locals.
