You are the go-to person for guests throughout their trip—bringing energy, deep knowledge of Ghana, and problem-solving skills to every adventure. As a Travel Buddy, you’re more than a tour guide: you’re a host, hype squad, safety officer, and storyteller all in one. JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Responsibilities

Tour Leadership & Guest Engagement

  • Lead and host guests throughout curated experiences across Ghana.
  • Bring infectious energy and keep guests entertained, informed, and engaged.
  • Provide accurate and engaging historical, cultural, and local knowledge (training provided).
  • Monitor group wellbeing and maintain a fun, respectful atmosphere for all guests.

Safety, Punctuality & Responsibility

  • Ensure guest safety and adherence to all tour guidelines and local regulations.
  • Be on time—always. You set the standard for punctuality on every trip.
  • Act swiftly and calmly when unexpected situations arise, offering practical solutions.

On-Ground Operations

  • Handle payments at various activity sites, restaurants, or venues during trips.
  • Check and organize supplies and equipment before trip departure.
  • Coordinate and communicate any itinerary changes or logistics updates.

Content & Brand Representation

  • Help capture memorable content from guest experiences for Sorted Chale social media.
  • Share behind-the-scenes, candid, or scenic moments that represent the brand vibe.
  • Actively contribute to ideas that enhance the Sorted Chale guest experience.


Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • Deep interest in Ghanaian history, culture, and tourism (training provided)
  • Must have or be willing to complete basic safety training

Preferred

  • Tour Guide certification is a strong advantage
  • Prior experience in hospitality, tourism, or event hosting
  • Conflict resolution and customer service experience
  • Ability to conduct independent research and share stories confidently
  • Creativity in storytelling or social media content creation
