Day 1 : July 27th
Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Guests arrive in Accra and are warmly welcomed with airport pickup and seamless transfer to their hotel. After time to settle in and unwind from their journey, the evening begins with a special welcome dinner, offering the perfect introduction to Ghanaian hospitality, cuisine, and the exciting experiences ahead. The evening also provides an opportunity to meet fellow travelers, connect with your host, and set the tone for the journey ahead.
Day 2 : July 28th
Accra City Tour
Guests begin the day exploring Accra, Ghana’s vibrant capital, with visits to some of the city’s most important historical landmarks. The tour includes the iconic Black Star Gate and Independence Square, symbols of Ghana’s independence and national pride, followed by a visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where guests learn about the life and legacy of Ghana’s first president and a key figure in Africa’s independence movement. The experience continues with an engaging cultural performance featuring traditional drumming and dancing, offering guests a lively introduction to Ghana’s rich musical traditions. Journey to Cape Coast: The Road to Our Ancestors - Day 1
Guests depart Accra and journey along Ghana’s historic coastline for a powerful day of reflection and learning. The first stop is Assin Manso, the site of the “Last Bath,” where enslaved Africans were forced to bathe before being taken to the coastal slave forts. This deeply moving location offers an opportunity to reflect on a significant chapter of Ghana’s history and the transatlantic slave trade. The journey continues to Elmina Castle, one of the oldest European-built structures in sub-Saharan Africa and a key site in the history of the slave trade. During a guided tour, guests explore the castle’s dungeons and courtyards while learning about the stories connected to this historic landmark. The day concludes with lunch before guests proceed to their hotel for check-in and a restful evening.
Day 4 : July 30th
Journey to Cape Coast: The Road to Our Ancestors - Day 2
The day begins with checkout from the hotel before guests set out to explore Elmina township, offering a glimpse into the daily life, culture, and history of one of Ghana’s oldest coastal communities. Walking through the town provides insight into its fishing traditions, colonial architecture, and the vibrant atmosphere that continues to shape life along the coast. The experience continues with a visit to Cape Coast Castle, another significant historical landmark connected to the transatlantic slave trade. During a guided tour of the castle’s chambers and courtyards, guests gain deeper understanding of the site’s history and its impact on the African diaspora. The day concludes with our journey back to Accra, where guests return to their hotel for the evening.

Today is a free day for guests to relax and enjoy Accra at their own pace. Whether you choose to rest at the hotel, explore the city, visit local markets, enjoy the beaches, or discover cafés and cultural spaces, the day offers flexibility to experience Accra in a way that suits your interests. This free time also provides an opportunity to recharge before the next set of experiences on the journey. Guests may also reach out to their host for recommendations or assistance in planning optional activities for the day.
Day 6 : August 1st
Aburi Gardens & Chasing Waterfall Experience
Guests depart Accra for a refreshing escape to the cool and scenic Aburi Hills, known for its lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere. The experience begins with a visit to the Aburi Botanical Gardens, where guests can stroll through beautifully landscaped grounds while learning about a variety of tropical plants and trees that have made the gardens a historic and relaxing retreat. The journey continues to a nearby waterfall, where guests can enjoy the natural beauty and tranquil setting of the forested surroundings. The experience offers a perfect balance of nature and relaxation before the day concludes with lunch and the return journey back to Accra.
Day 7 : August 2nd
Royal Experience Day 1 (Manhyia Palace & Komfo Anokye sword site)
The day begins with departure from Accra as guests travel to Kumasi, the historic capital of the Ashanti Kingdom and one of Ghana’s most culturally significant cities. Upon arrival, the experience begins with a visit to the Manhyia Palace Museum, the former residence of the Ashanti kings, where guests learn about the history, leadership, and traditions of the Ashanti Kingdom. The journey continues with a visit to the sacred Okomfo Anokye Sword Site, home to the legendary sword said to have been planted by the revered priest Okomfo Anokye over 300 years ago. The site remains an important cultural and spiritual symbol for the Ashanti people. The day concludes with hotel check-in in Kumasi and time to relax after the day’s journey and cultural exploration.
Day 8 : August 3rd
Royal Experience day 2 (Naming Ceremony, Kente & Cocoa farm tour)
The day begins with a continuation of the Royal Experience in Kumasi, offering deeper insight into Ashanti culture and traditions. Guests participate in a traditional naming ceremony held in a chief’s palace, a meaningful cultural moment that symbolizes identity, heritage, and connection to Ghanaian tradition. The experience continues with visits to a local kente weaving center and a cocoa farm, where guests learn about the artistry behind Ghana’s famous kente cloth and the traditional weaving process, as well as Ghana’s important role as one of the world’s leading cocoa producers. The day concludes with our journey back to Accra and check-in at the hotel.

If you prefer to explore, step out to discover local boutiques, vibrant markets, cafés, and that fine-dining restaurant you’ve been meaning to try. Whether you choose quiet relaxation or independent adventure, the day is entirely yours to design.
Day 10 : August 5th
Shai Hills & Tafi Atome
Guests depart Accra for a day of nature and wildlife exploration. The experience begins at Shai Hills Resource Reserve, where guests can enjoy scenic landscapes, rocky hills, and open savannah while learning about the area’s wildlife and history. The reserve is home to animals such as antelopes, baboons, and a variety of bird species, offering a peaceful introduction to Ghana’s natural environment. The journey continues to Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, a community-led conservation area known for its population of friendly Mona monkeys. Guests learn about the cultural significance of the monkeys to the local community and may observe them in their natural habitat. The day concludes with the return journey to Accra
Day 11 : August 6th
Cooking Class + Batik Making & Farewell Dinner
Guests enjoy a hands-on cultural immersion experience that begins with a traditional Ghanaian cooking class in a local home. Guided by local hosts, guests learn how to prepare authentic Ghanaian dishes while discovering the ingredients, techniques, and culinary traditions that define the country’s cuisine. The experience continues with a batik-making session, where guests are introduced to this traditional textile art and have the opportunity to create their own patterned fabric using wax and dye techniques. The day concludes with a special farewell dinner, providing a warm and memorable opportunity to celebrate the journey, reflect on the experiences shared, and enjoy one final evening together.
Day 12 : August 7th
Goodbyes & Departure
After breakfast, guests check out of the hotel and prepare for departure. Depending on flight schedules, there may be time for a final moment to relax before the scheduled transfer to Kotoka International Airport. Our team will assist with airport transfers, marking the conclusion of the journey and a heartfelt farewell as guests depart Ghana with lasting memories of their experience.
