Visit the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, with its striking minaret rising above the Atlantic coastline. Continue through the elegant Art Deco medina, explore the lively Central Market, and take in sweeping ocean views along the Corniche. It is a fascinating introduction to Morocco’s most cosmopolitan city before the journey north begins.
Day 3
Casablanca to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, board your private minibus and head north into the Rif Mountains, where the scenery gradually shifts into rolling peaks and quiet mountain landscapes. By afternoon, arrive in Chefchaouen, the legendary Blue City, where indigo-washed walls, flower-draped stairways, and a calm mountain atmosphere create one of Morocco’s most picturesque and memorable destinations.
Day 4
Chefchaouen to Fes
Spend a leisurely morning exploring Chefchaouen’s photogenic medina, where cascading blue alleyways, hidden corners, and a relaxed mountain atmosphere make every step feel memorable. Later, depart east through the Rif Mountains toward Fès, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual capital. As this ancient city comes into view, the sense of history is immediate. On arrival, check into your authentic riad, complete with ensuite baths and heating, where you will settle in for the next two nights.
Day 5
Fès Medina Full Day Tour
Today is devoted to exploring Fès el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage medina and the world’s largest car-free urban area. Accompanied by your professional English-speaking guide, you will navigate its 9,000 winding streets, passing ochre- and cobalt-stained tanneries, ancient Koranic schools, fragrant spice souks, and centuries-old mosques. This is a day for immersion and discovery, best enjoyed at a slower pace. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, as Fès reveals its richest details to those willing to wander, observe, and take in the atmosphere step by step
Day 6
Fès to the Sahara
Today is a grand crossing through the heart of Morocco, beginning in Fès and continuing through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, across the high plateau of Midelt, and onward as the landscape gradually shifts from green valleys to golden desert plains. By evening, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara, just as the sun sets over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, your camel guide awaits for a memorable ride into the desert, where glowing amber skies give way to a night beneath the stars. The experience ends at your luxury king-size tent, offering comfort, atmosphere, and an unforgettable taste of the Sahara.
Day 7
Merzouga to Kasbah Hnini
Rise before dawn to witness the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, as the desert comes alive in soft shades of rose and amber. After breakfast, depart for the ancient market town of Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty and a place rich in history and local character. From there, continue through Morocco’s dramatic southern landscapes to Kasbah Hnini, a fortress-turned-guesthouse nestled among palm groves. This unique stay offers an authentic glimpse into southern Moroccan life, blending heritage, warmth, and atmosphere in a truly memorable setting.
Day 8
The Road to Marrakech
Today brings one of the most scenic drives of the journey along the legendary Route of a Thousand Kasbahs. Travel through Ouarzazate, often called the Moroccan Hollywood, before stopping at Aït Benhaddou, a breathtaking UNESCO-listed ksar famed for its striking ochre towers and appearances in countless films. As the afternoon light turns golden, continue across the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, taking in sweeping views before descending into Marrakech, the Rose City. On arrival, check into your riad and settle in for the next stage of your Moroccan adventure.
Day 9
Marrakech Guided City Tour
Discover the heart of Marrakech with your professional guide as you explore some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the ornate Ben Youssef Medersa, the magnificent Bahia Palace, the serene Saadian Tombs, and the vibrant spectacle of Jemaa el-Fna, where the energy of the city comes fully alive. Wander through the bustling souks and immerse yourself in a city that engages every sense with its colour, sound, and atmosphere. In the evening, a private car will transfer you to a carefully curated local restaurant for dinner, adding a memorable culinary experience to your day in Marrakech.
Day 10
Free Day
Use this day to explore on your own or to relax at the hotel.
Day 11
Marrakech Day
Begin the day with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride at sunrise, floating silently above Marrakech as the early light washes the palm groves and Atlas foothills in shades of gold. From above, the Rose City stretches out beneath you, with its minarets, medinas, and patchwork gardens creating a breathtaking panorama and a truly memorable start to the day. Later, step into a traditional kitchen for a hands-on Moroccan cooking class led by a local chef. Using fresh ingredients and aromatic spices, you will learn the techniques behind some of Morocco’s most beloved dishes, from tagine and couscous to pastilla. The experience ends in the most rewarding way possible, with the chance to sit down and enjoy the meal you have prepared together.
